Abdulaziz was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. When Abdulaziz first started his undergraduate studies in engineering, he was not quite clear what his career goals were. He was sure that he was doing what he loved. In 2014, he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Umm Al-Qura University in Saudi Arabia. Then he worked as a civil engineer for one year at Dar Al-Handash Consultants. During his work period, he assisted the aforementioned company in mediating between the Saudi Financial Ministry and the contractor's responsibility. Subsequently, he received an offer from the Islamic University of Madinah in 2016. The university wanted him to work as a teaching assistant and attend Master's and PhD degree programs in an elite Civil Engineering Department in the United States. In 2017, he earned a certificate (EAP) from University of California, Riverside before joining OSU to start his Master's program in Civil Engineering. In 2020, he completed his Master's degree in Civil Engineering from OSU. He is married and has a baby daughter. His hobbies are reading, traveling, and playing volleyball and soccer.
